Clematis

Well, we’re slowly emerging from a state-wide lockdown to stem the spread of Covid-19 in Maryland, and it’s high time I get this blog back in gear. (Thanks Rajan!)

We’ve had a rather damp and cold spring so far, so quite a few of the plants are only now starting to bloom. One that is doing spectacularly is my Clematis. I don’t recall if I ever knew the cultivar, but this particular strain produces beautiful, large, attractive flowers that last a week to ten days. No fragrance, but they are a sight to behold.

Take a gander. There will be more to come.
