Venus Fly Traps, "Vigorous"
Venus Fly Traps, "Vigorous"
This is one of three Venus Fly Trap (Dionaea muscipula) cultivars I’m growing in my bog garden this year. “Vigorous”, as its name implies, grows rapidly: what you’re seeing is new growth since I got the bulb back in late April. I haven’t had much success with VFTs prior to this, so I’m anxious to see how they do, especially when I over-winter them.
In the meantime, I enjoy photographing them, and hope you enjoy these images.
I will get images of the others posted in the days to come. Stay tuned….
