Morning Coneflower

What a great start to the day. The sun had yet to clear the treeline. The temperature and humidity were in the really-too-wonderful range, and the coneflowers (Echinacea) were in bloom. I took several photos, and here the first of what I hope will be a series. There are so many plants just ready to flower, it will be hard not to be out with my camera this week.

I just love this time of the year!
