Passing Sparrows Point

A sleek sloop named “Guinevere” sails passed the old (and now defunct) Sparrows Point steel mill. This photograph was taken in the the early 2000s when the mill was operating. While quite a polluter, the mill in the background provides a nice and stark contrast to this beautiful sailboat.

I’ve applied a fair degree of artistic license in processing this photo. I hope you find it appealing.
