Winter By The Lake
Winter By The Lake
I think of winter as a solemn season. One for introspection and reflections. I come back to the lyric: “Regrets? I’ve had a few, but too few to mention”. It’s Sinatra’s line and somewhat fitting the mood. I like it, but am happy to move past and into springtime, just a few weeks away.
This photo was taken in 2019, a time when we still had snow in Maryland. (Alas, none so far this season.) Originally processed in color, I wanted to go back, rethink, and reprocess the photograph to bring out the emotions I felt and continue to feel about the scene and the time of the year.
What are your thoughts? I’d love to hear them. Please post them in the Comments section and I will respond. Thank you ever so much for taking the time.
