This past weekend I had an opportunity to take a brief hike around the grounds of Baltimore County Community College in Catonsville, which happens to be very close to Patapsco Valley State Park. Late spring plants were out in all their glory. I had my 70-200 mm with a 20mm extension tube and decided to shoot purposely with a shallow depth of field, more for atmosphere than scientific accuracy. Here are two of the photographs from my hike.
