Marcella Koss Redux

Another photo session with this beautiful orchid, Blc. Marcella Koss "Pink Marvel". This time I used a shoot-through umbrella, a single speedlight, and a couple of white reflectors, the latter to bring light back into the shadows. The result is a very soft, dreamy light that gently caresses the flower. I am pleased with the result, which dramatically contrasts the more documentarian style of the January 2018 photograph.
