My gardens overflow with many varieties of perennials, especially coneflowers. As we enter August, these beauties are already starting to go to seed, and the goldfinches are feasting on the bounty. I was fortunate to get out before sunrise a few days ago to photograph this pair of gorgeous magenta blooms; providing a lasting reminder of the very hot, but wonderful Summer of 2024.
